The party was on last thursday for the Stilletto Ball. Everything was kinda wet under the new Pavillion at Patriots Point and it was a little chilly too! We had a great time until the wind and rain decided to blow through the party! Great seeing everyone and meeting new party people too.
The East Cooper Hospital dedication was unreal! What a great facility. All of the folks there treated us great and we were able to meet with and see all kinds of new people as a bonus. Kids going crazy, adults trying to keep up, Party Band music, Community Band music, School singers, dancers and of course, all of the carnival assortments! Thanks to all those who came out and look forward to seeing everyone Friday at the big Oyster Roast on Sullivans Island.
OK....SO......this may be something strange for some of you and maybe something that is way cool for some as well. The advent of the smartphone has just taken over the cell phone market and the way we all do business these days. The largest of those smartphone companies happens to be Research in Motion. RIM makes all of the Blackberry devices. NO......... we do not have a Party Band Smartphone, but we are developing a variety of themes for the various Blackberry models. We are doing this for you, our people, at no cost to you and within a few weeks, there will be a download page for you to click on and download as many of them as you would like. So now you can take the Party Band on your personal phone where ever you go. We will have an exclusive theme for each band member and for all of you aspiring tech guys and girls, there will be a Mike Cook "Cookie" theme available for you as well.
