Charleston Beach and Shag Festival

The Charleston Beach and Shag Festival was a huge success and we enjoyed being apart of the event once again.

Sunday began with the Catalina's from Charlotte, NC. If you are a Beach Music person you already know they are known for the classic song, "Summertime's Calling Me". These guys sounded really good and it was so good to see Gary, Jeppy, Bobby and the boys once again.

The ECPB came on second and rocked the house. We put that 10 pounds of party in the 5 pound bag and left them wanting more! Check out the pictures on our Photo's page.

The Swinging Medallion's took the stage next and really sounded good. They are best known for the classic "Double-Shot of My Baby's Love" The original drummer, Joe Morris, was there to sing with them and blend the old with the new. Our own Jerry Polk, was asked to sing a song with them as well.

The Tams closed the show and in traditional Tams fashion, they just took it to the house! They are known for songs such as; " What Kind of Fool", Untie Me", "Concrete Jungle" and Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy". They accepted a lifetime achievement award from the city of Charleston for 50 years of service. We have all been blessed by their contributions to Beach Music and I'm sure listening to their music makes us all a bit happier!

Join us Friday Night in Aiken SC for the Rose Hill Concert Series. You can find more information on our calendar. We would love to see you all there.
